CD-ROM/Multimedia Development

Multimedia is an expression of Interactive Digital Communications. It comprises of many different media elements, including:

  • Photographs and photographic quality images

  • Digitized illustrations

  • Sound (Voice-overs and music for example)

  • Video

  • Text

  • Animation

Final Cut can offer you competitive rates for Multimedia production, including: Presentational Sequences, CD-ROM's and Kiosk Applications. Multimedia applications which in CD-ROM format, are the industry standard for CBT (Computer Based Training). Supply your files on floppy disc, CD or Hard Disc and we can record them to CD (PC Only).

DVD Authoring

DVD - Authoring is one of the new services that Final Cut is offering. Final Cut can encode your video to DVD, Video-CD, CD-ROM or Laserdisc. With 15 years of optical disc technology, Final Cut provide the most comprehensive encoding in the UK.

Final Cut are offering special deals on DVD encoding: for example, ten 30 second adverts encoded and authored to DD, with a menu for less than £400. We are also offering more special deals on DVD players and touch screens in our Special Deals section.

Laserdisc Recording

.

The discs produced at Final Cut are 30cm CAV Pal standard, that contain 36 minutes of high quality video, and dual analogue audio tracks.

The level of control from an external device is virtually limitless, for instance the disc can be used as the master controller for a full A/V presentation, or can be used as the video and audio source in a point of sale (pos) or point of information (poi) environment.

The robust nature, high quality and controllability of Laserdiscs also makes them the perfect medium for exhibition displays; many companies currently use Laserdisc technology for vidiwall applications.

MPEG Encoding to DVD, CD-ROM, Video CD and CD-I Standards

 

MPEG 1 (Motion Picture Expert Group) is the world standard for high quality Video and Audio digitizing. Final Cut's MPEG Encoding service is the cost effective way of producing MPEG files from your video source.

MPEG files can either be returned to you on a Gold CD-ROM disc recorded to the cross-platform standard ISO 9660 (PC, Mac, Unix) or recorded on DAT (PC raw file only).
